Lil'Dreams Pomeranians

"Cascadel's Lil'Lion"

"Leo"

Leo was the first Pom we purchased since my childhood and he was a gift for Jame's 12th birthday.

When ever I went to dog shows with my Shelties and James would go along to help set-up and tear down our grooming area, he would disappear in between those tasks. Depending on where the show was, sometimes he went to the on-grounds flea market or whatever other activity that might be going on, or he would disappear to a different dog breed ring.

He would find out when the Poms were to be shown and wait. He loved that breed and yet he did not know of the connection there was since I had grown up with a Pom and her daughter who was Pom/??. Bebee and Mittens lived to be 16 and 13 respectively. For James 12th birthday I bought him Leo and Leo turned fourteen on February 19, 2007. Leo has cataracts and only has vision on the outside edge of the lens covering the retina. This is a good EYE RESOURCE information site and explains things pretty much in laymans terms. Ditto has been Leo's buddy and eyes for a couple of years now and when James got out of the U.S. Marine Corps and decided to buy a home he wanted to take his Leo with him. I told him if he took Leo, he had to take Ditto and why. No problem... he took them both and Leo will live out his time with James and his wife, Lacey, new baby Lance and their other dog, Chip (Lacey's Yorkie).
