![]() We feed only IAMS Puppy Food to our Pomeranians..
We start our puppies out on ground up (in the blender on chop)IAMS with my Special Mixture of evaporated canned whole milk, strained egg yolks, mayonaise, Plain Dannon Yogurt, and Poly-Vi-Sol liquid vitamins, with fresh BOTTLED water always available. Slowly, I stop adding the Special Mixture and offer just the kibble and water. We feed treats vary sparingly as I don't like to cause intestinal upset with too many treats. The puppies hate that feeling just like we do. Just think about it! ![]() The Details ! ! ! !The puppies are ready for their new homes STARTING at 9 weeks. They will have had whatever shots are due according to their age and been wormed accordingly also. They are very well socialized being born and raised in my expanded office and my newly enlarged laundry room. I can fly puppies 9 weeks and older. I am closest to Fayetteville, Arkansas, airport and that would be where I would ship out of. The average price for shipping is around $275.00, for a smaller younger puppy to $300.00 for an older puppy. I will use every reasonable measure possible to keep this cost to a minimum. There are weather restrictions on flying animals during the coldest and hotest times of the year. Shipping will not be available at those times, but I am willing to drive a short distance to meet you. I have travel restrictions on myself for back problems, so the furthest I can drive to meet you would be 10.00 miles in any direction at $.50 cents a mile, one way. My puppies are priced reasonably for a couple of reasons. One is because I don't offer lifetime guarantees. I think offering a lifetime guarantee is taking on a commitment for what could be up to 16 years on one of these guys and maybe for my health I wouldn't be able to breed dogs for that long, but also because a lot could happen in that dogs lifetime that wouldn't be genetic, but maybe injury induced, and that wouldn't be fair to me as a breeder. I do offer the normal 72 hour guarantee in which time you are to take the puppy to your personal Vet and if your Vet finds something wrong that makes the puppy "unsuitable as a family companion", I give a full refund of the purchase price only and after the puppy has been returned to my home. The 72 hour guarantee does not cover injury if the puppy is dropped, jumps out of your arms and does not cover the settle-in period a dog normally takes when put into a new home. Another reason I am trying to keep my prices reasonable is that I think that the price of dogs with or without AKC Registration Papers has just become cost prohibitive for the everyday, ordinary family. We are a small hobby/show kennel and I formally showed Collies (10 years), Shelties (20+ years) and briefly Poms (2 years). We are Associate Members of the Tri-State Kennel Club, which means we support the club when we can with verbal praise and donations for their fund raisers, but we no longer go to shows for health reasons. When we were active Regular Members, we not only showed dogs, but I have held every position on the board except treasurer, as well as was show chairman for several of our all breed dog shows held in the Spring, Fall and the Fun Match in the Summer. My husband also participated by being the building/grounds chairman for many shows. ![]() Nancy and Bill Warner We are in the Central Time Zone. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
